Guests came from far and wide and apart from the Deputy Mayor, our MP and local Civic Dignitaries, a descendant of the Taylor Family who lived in Grovelands House (Now the Priory) was there as well as Clem Cattini, the local famous drummer who specially put the Tornadoes together as our Headline Act on Saturday night. He met up back stage with old friend Bobby Henrit who once lived in Winchmore Hill and who plays drums with the Kinks and the 80 year old Songwriter Marcel Stellman, who had been Head of International at Decca and had promoted the Tornadoes Telstar single when it got to No.1 in America. It was a time for many old friends and neighbours to meet and share community memories.
