The Friends of Grovelands Park are a small but voluntary dedicated group wishing to preserve the beautiful landscape and amenities of the park for the enjoyment of the community and for future generations. All lovers of the park are welcome.
Who We Are & What We Do
We meet on a quarterly basis to discuss any concerns and monitor the maintenance of the park, liaise with the police and the LBE and plan any events as well as attending meetings at the Civic Centre to represent the interests of Grovelands Park. Our volunteers undertake work that otherwise would not be done, including planting bulbs, constructing a boardwalk and other improvements to ensure that we continue to maintain Green Flag standards as we have done for several years.
